PASMA accredited Training

The Work at Height Regulations 2005, require that the assembly, dismantling or alteration of Mobile Access Towers should only be undertaken by a competent person, or if being trained, under the supervision of a competent person.

A competent person is a person who can demonstrate that they have sufficient professional or technical training, knowledge, actual experience, and authority* to enable them to carry out their assigned duties at the level of responsibility allocated to them; understand any potential hazards related to the work (or equipment) under consideration; detect any technical defects or omissions in that work (or equipment), recognise any implications for health and safety caused by those defects or omissions; and be able to specify a remedial action to mitigate those implications.

The PASMA Mobile Tower training course can include the supply of a mobile tower. Via our qualified training partners, full classroom and practical training is given that meets all current PASMA requirements.
The PASMA Certificate is then valid for 5 years. The Course content, instructors and training delivery are subject to a rigorous assessment to ensure compliance with PASMA standards.

IPAF

IPAF accredited training

If your organisation engages in any form of working at height then you have a legal obligation to provide your staff with the correct training. The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on the employer to provide an adequate level of training to allow employees to operate equipment safely and competently. You will also see the wider benefits that training can bring about - enhanced company reputation along with the improved development, morale and productivity of your workforce.

As an employer, it is not just a requirement, but a duty in law to provide adequate training for your employees.

IPAF training is accredited by the countries leading bodies and via our qualified training partners, full classroom and practical training is given that meets all current IPAF requirements. The IPAF Certificate is valid for 5- years and covers the safe use and operation of a MEWP (mobile elevated work platform) Scissor lift and/or Boom.
