The BOHS P406 Module provides the trainee with the practical knowledge and skills to be able to act as Supervisory Licence Holder during an asbestos removal project. This training is also suitable for Managers and Directors and meets all the training requirements listed in Chapter 4 of HSG 247. The course includes a 1 hour 30 minute examination and a full practical assessment. Candidates must pass the written examination AND the practical assessment to be awarded the BOHS Proficiency Certificate in this module.

Content of the BOHS syllabus: Asbestos types and health effects 10%; Legislation 10%: Removal of asbestos 30%; RPE, PPE and Decontamination procedures 10%; Accident and Emergency procedures 10%; Practical 30%.

PLUS £105 (zero-rated) for the BOHS exam

Once we receive your completed booking form a confirmation of that booking and an invoice will be sent to you by post within 2-3 days. All training fees must be paid before the course start date. Joining instructions are then sent to you by post and email before the course due date.

Our standard terms and conditions apply to all bookings (CLICK HERE). Any cancellations or postponements must be received in writing 15 clear days before the course start date. All fees are forfeited thereafter, however substitutions can be made right up to the start of the course. Please note: All providers are required by BOHS to confirm the exact number of exam papers 7 days before a course is due to run, so we no longer have the flexibility to accept late bookings. Please accept our apologies and kindly ensure any booking is made in good time otherwise we may not be able to accept it.
