BOHS P402 Building Surveys & Bulk Sampling proficiency module is the minimum recognised qualification required to undertake Asbestos surveys.

The BOHS P402 provides the background and practical knowledge required for surveying of buildings for asbestos and the taking of any bulk samples.  The course includes a 1 hour 15 minute examination and practical assessments.  

Content of the BOHS P402 syllabus:   Introduction and legislative requirements 5%; Asbestos in buildings 45%; Bulk sampling 15%; Practical work 35%.

Candidates must pass the exam and practical assessment. They will then be required to submit two written survey reports to BOHS for assessment before they can be awarded the BOHS P402 proficiency certificate.

Note: If you have a group of people to train we can ALSO offer this course at your own premises, anywhere in the world.  It is possible to combine the P402 and P405 training courses within 5 days for a small group of personnel, at your own premises.

Cancellations or postponements must be received in writing 15 days before the course start date.  All fees are forfeited thereafter, however substitutions can be made.
