UKATA - the UK asbestos training association

AAA Training are very pleased and proud to announce that we have been audited and approved as Members of UKATA the United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association. The aim of the Association is to set a benchmark standard for asbestos training provision that will be strictly adhered to by its members.

UKATA has also been given the responsibility of managing the list of training providers for licensed work that was previously monitored by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). HSE have said that asbestos training should be provided by a UKATA member, otherwise it may not meet then their enforcing officer's requirement at licence renewal time.

The HSE have positively backed the formation of an Association of training providers from the start and they have endorsed the aims of the Association which are to ensure that only the highest possible standards of asbestos training will be offered by UKATA Members.

UKATA will work to set standards and consistently aim to improve the quality of asbestos training provision in the UK. From now on if you are looking for an asbestos training provider, for any type of asbestos training course, then you can be confident that those companies listed on the UKATA website at www.ukata.org.uk have all been independently audited and approved by the Association.
